What I Do

For twelve years I worked as a special education teacher at the elementary level. Teaching kids with special needs taught me most of the most important things about being alive.

In June of 2016, I got a birthday trip to Thomas Land funded for one of my students with Autism named Kingston. I had the story published in the local paper which led to features from CBS and ABC news, which not only doubled our GoFundMe goal, but led to owners of Thomas Land flying myself and Kingston’s entire family out to Massachusetts where they closed down the park just for us to explore, as well as funded a week long vacation for us. Here is some news footage of the magic:

In August 2016, I stepped out of the classroom to make my first documentary film about the need for better sex ed in the school system and I am happy to announce that we are DONE! You can watch the trailer here:

I also write. I wrote a screenplay that I’d like to make, in any way I can make that happen. And I self-published a book called Handsome Vanilla. It’s on Amazon here:

I also act in and produce projects I believe in.
